Your work profile
As a Manager in our SBD Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. The responsibilities of the current role would require the candidate to:
Project Planning and Execution: Manage the planning, day-to-day execution, management, implementation, readiness, and reporting of medium to large projects and/or small programs
Project Management Expertise: Apply advanced project management and program management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and communications
Methodology and Standards: Understand, apply, promote, and contribute to delivery methodologies, standards, and tools
Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
Resource Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure project milestones are achieved
Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques to ensure project is on track, within scope, and budget
Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive management of project status
Desired skills and qualifications
Candidate should meet following criteria:
Experience: 12-18 years of experience in project management, preferably within the insurance industry
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Certifications (Mandatory):
- Project Management Professional (PMP)®
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)®
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)®
Certifications (Good to have):
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®
- Program Management Professional (PgMP)®
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Six Sigma Certification
- ITIL Certification
Skills:
- Strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to mentor
- Willingness and ability to take initiative, learn independently and drive the team
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana) and MS Suite (advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Time Zone: Candidates must be able to work during US East Coast hours
Work Environment: Work from home with occasional travel as required by the project
