Job Summary:

Red Hat’s User Experience Engineering team is looking for a Business Analyst to join us remotely within India. In this role, you will use your unique blend of business and technical acumen to build a bridge across engineering and stakeholders to drive actionable insights that result in great decisions for our User Experience Engineering tooling needs.

What you will do?

• Drive the analysis, documentation, management, and communication of software engineering requirements through the creation of business requirements documents, software requirement documents, and functional specifications
• Assist with project communications functions such as preparing reports and creating presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Have excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Build relationships with a persistent and enthusiastic customer service mentality 
• Be stakeholder-focused, with the ability to deliver and manage multiple priority projects with high satisfaction rates in a rapidly changing environment 
• Think systematically and effectively when navigating ambiguously defined business problems
• Work in a highly visible, fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, and continuously evolving role

What you will bring?

• 3+ years of experience with creating user stories and requirements gathering 
• 3+ years of experience of business analysis or project analysis roles
• 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional, collaborative environment; ability to bring different groups of people together to collaborate in a community setting
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence
• Desire to work in an open organization; open source participation
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience working within Regulatory/Compliance environments and/or Knowledge Centered Support a plus
• Experience with Service Now a plus
